When Laura Stang and Jason ODell met in 2001, Laura had just started hand-dyeing and embroidering t-shirts to sell at the Brentwood boutique she was managing. Little did they know this side-project was just the beginning of a popular lifestyle brand, and since then, theyve been refining a style thats versatile and unique. Eventually, all of the har... d work and design vision got big enough to deserve a space of its own. Thats why, in May 2013, Laura and Jason opened Bucks & Does, a Silverlake boutique in their dream location, Sunset Junction. With some of the hippest European and Los Angeles labels in town, it was no surprise that Los Angeles Magazine called Bucks & Does one of the Best Clothing Shops in LA. In 2017, Jason and Laura re-branded Bucks & Does as The ODells Shop. They wanted to merge their websites into one, rather than manage two instagrams, two websites, and two Facebook pages, they decided to present their lifestyle brand under one name. The ODells Shop, a clothing boutique in Silverlake, LA has both contemporary and classic clothing for men and women and will be introducing home goods and accessories. Laura and Jason have found that men love their tees and women love their chemises that are a touch bohemian while still modern and chic. When their hip and vintage-inspired aesthetic got too big for just clothes, theyve evolved to provide customers with accessories, jewelry, apothecary, and shoes. The stores pride and joy is Laura and Jasons label, The ODells. Their Silverlake boutique in the heart of LA's Sunset Junction is the perfect place for a line bearing their name.
