MSTV spearheaded the All-Channel Receiver Act . The act insured that television receivers would be "capable of adequately receiving all frequencies allocated by the FCC to television broadcasters." The act accelerated the development of the then fledgling UHF television service and created the foundation for today's modern and highly competitive television broadcast system. Throughout the decade, we worked tirelessly to improve the signal quality of both the UHF and VHF services. As a result, the number of off-air television channels available to consumers across the United States more than doubled, thereby increasing viewing options available to all Americans.Read More
