Abalos requested the BF Corporation, private contractor of the DOTR's Common Station project, to move back their fences at their work area to open more lanes for passing motorists as to avoid traffic obstruction in the area. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, in partnership with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) conducts free tuberculosis screening and chest x-ray for the agencys 2,500 field personnel to identify those with cases of tuberculosis (TB) and provide them full treatment and medication. The diagnostic tests will help prevent exposure and reduce transmission as street sweepers and traffic enforcers are prone to variety of dust, toxins, vehicular smoke and other emissions. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, organizer of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), in partnership with the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (MOWELFUND) rolled out today its COVID-19 vaccination program for movie industry workers who received their first COVID-19 vaccine as part of the A4 Group list.
