The Marco Players

The Marco Players Theater is the venue for an intimate black-box theater experience. The community theater provides comfortable seating, excellent acoustics and great visibility, without a bad seat in the house. As a volunteer-driven organization that operat... es year-round, The Marco Players deliver live community theater, music and display the works of local artists to residents and visitors of SW Florida. Started in the 1970s (est. 1974) as a childrens play reading group, it was eventually re-created as an adult community theater known as The Marco Island Players. In the late 1970s, the Players incorporated as a non-profit corporation, now known as The Marco Players. In the early 1990s, with the cooperation of Marco Town Center Mall, The Marco Players settled into its current leased spaces which serve as the rehearsal space, box office, tech booth and 83-seat theater space.Read More
