The Innovative School (formerly known as Innovative Montessori) was founded in 1996 with a commitment to offer the West Houston area an education based on the astonishing research of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school has grown in the past decade into a warm, loving community of students, families, and teachers committed to offering children an inter... national world-class Montessori education. The faculty and staff deeply believe in the human potential. We treat even our youngest child with respect as a whole. Our essential goal is to instill the love of learning in all our children and have each child reach their full potential. The Innovative School provides each student instruction capable to their own individual needs using Montessori learning strategies. Montessori allows for all "learners" (Verbal-linguistic, Musical-Rhythmic, Logical-Mathematical, Visual-Spatial, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, and Naturalist) to maximize their potential in learning. Today, The Innovative School has an enrollment of students ranging from age 18 months through six years old. Our student and faculty body represents more than 10 different countries and nearly every ethnic group. It goes without saying that we do not discriminate on the basis of religious beliefs, marital status, race, color, gender, handicap or national or ethnic origin in the factor of new applications or in the daily life at school.
