About The iJournal

The iJournal is an open-access journal run by graduate students at the University of Torontos Faculty of Information (iSchool). Our aim is to publish exemplary student research on the divergent topics of information studies, thereby fostering collective identity and interdisciplinary understanding among information students, faculty, and practitioners. Review Process Review is done anonymously by subject-matter experts and by associate editors, with reviewers and authors being unaware of one another's identities. Receiving and forwarding of manuscripts to reviewers is performed by one member of the Editorial Board who is not involved in making review decisions. All manuscripts are reviewed by at least two reviewers. Successful submissions are then assigned to members of the Editorial Board who assist authors in preparing a manuscript for publication. The quality of a manuscript is typically judged based on its originality, methodology, readability, style, ease of editing, and alignmentRead more
