Established in 2009. Authentic German Cuisine & Hospitality, Including other International Specialties My name is Annette Engols and I am the owner of The German Cafe in Sierra Vista. My experience in baking and cooking began in Fulda/Hessen, Germany, where I grew up and worked in the "Baeckerei und Cafe Schuchert", my parent's bakery and restauran... t. My German degree is in business and management with a restaurant and bakery emphasis. Here in the US, I earned a BA in Human Service and Management from the University of Phoenix. In January of 2009, I took over The German Cafe. Cooking and baking is my passion, so opening the Cafe was a dream come true for me. Since then we have been featured in several different newspapers and travel magazines to include the Sierra Vista Herald, Arizona Republic, The Arizona Highway and the Phoenix Travel, Wine & Country magazine. We are currently number one on Tripadvisor.com, featuring the most popular restaurants in Sierra Vista.
