About The Fortitude
The Fort is Brisbanes newest entertainment complex in the heart of the Valleys Brunswick Street Mall developed by Scott Hutchinson of Hutchies . Scott, Paul Piticco from Secret Sounds and former Powderfinger member John Collins conceived the idea for this passion project off the back of their love of live local music and success at The Triffid in Newstead. Live Nation and Secret Sounds operate The Fortitude Music Hall which is the centrepiece of the repurposed commercial building that sits between Brunswick and Warner Streets. It fills the need for a mid-sized venue and meet the growing demands for event spaces and live music options in Brisbane. On the mall side of the building is Soundgarden a two level bar and restaurant by Mantle Group . "I want to keep the Valley, the Valley. To have more small music venues hanging off it, to have great bars hanging off it, and for the Valley to be the wonderful, lively entertainment precinct it always has been."Explore more
