The Foodwrap Co is part of Advanced Coated Products Ltd. The company started in 1942 by an ex RAF pilot in Cheltenham called Leonard Stace, he developed rubber coated cloth to make self seal & bullet proof linings for aircraft fuel tanks, and supplied them to the government during the war. In the early 1960s release coated silicones were being deve... loped for use against pressure sensitive adhesives and Mr Stace started making release coated papers suitable for producing self adhesive laminates such as Fablon (sticky back plastic, loved by the BBCs Blue Peter programme) Since then the company has not stood still and now supplies a wide range of products ranging from highly specialist products for the medical sector through to printed greaseproof paper to wrap gourmet burgers. At The Foodwrap Co we recognise that individual customers within each market have very different needs. Our philosophy is to work in close co-operation with our customers to provide tailored solutions meeting the specific demands of their organisation. Backed by ISO 9001:2015, our quality system certifies the traceability of our products. Service levels are continuously monitored to ensure total customer satisfaction. We are also BRC/IoP Global Standard for Packaging accredited. The Foodwrap Co is aware of its responsibilities as a manufacturing company towards the environment and the community. A formal programme to minimise the environmental impact of the operation is continually aiming to exceed the requirements of the relevant legislation.
