The Extension provides an intensive and structured residential recovery program for substance abuse through group and individual counseling, educational opportunities and life skills training. After more than twenty-five years of service in the Cobb community, the company has built strong relationships with local businesses and organizations, relationships the company draw on to place residents in jobs within weeks of their arrival. When they have completed the company's program, residents eagerly give back to the Extension both financially and by serving as mentors and friends to newer residents. Above all, the company's alumni give back by demonstrating through their own lives that it is possible for former addicts to live healthy productive lives.
