Michael is a third generation entertainment industry member, his grandfather, director Norman Taurog, directed over 86 feature films and his father, Sheldon Schrager began his career as a second assistant director and elevated his talents to become Columbia Pictures Senior Executive Vice President of Production. Michael began his career in entertainment marketing in 1980 as vice President at Associated Film Promotions. He moved to the studio side as Executive Director Production Administration at Sony Pictures where he re-established the product placement department and, after 10 years, retuned to the agency side creating The Entertainment Marketing Company in 1998. Throughout his career Michael has represented brands such as Unigroup, Inc. (Mayflower), Ford Motor Company, Schefflin Somerset (Moet, Hennessy, Johnny Walker, Dom Perignon, Tanqueray) Anheuser Busch, Nestle, Monster Energy, Georgio Armani Occhiali as well as boutique brands such as Naked Juice, Global Surf Industries, Catcher Computers, Cardo Systems, Lexar, Sentry Safe, Voodoo Tiki Tequila, Hugrz and more. Michaels favorite placements are the Ford Mustang driven by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Twins and the Ray Ban Sunglasses made famous by Will Smith in Men In Black.
