The Delta Project

The Delta Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the generational cycle of incarceration by reconnecting youth of color and their families to community relationships through mentorship, coaching, and storytelling. Their programs, such as Boys to Men-tors and the Young Fathers Initiative, focus on empowering at-potential youth who... are engaged or at risk of being engaged with the juvenile justice system. By providing skills development and support, The Delta Project aims to help these young individuals envision and work towards a positive future. The organization seeks to create narrative change and foster resilience among boys and young men of color, who are often disproportionately represented in the juvenile justice system.Read More
