LYRICAL & ZUMBA About THE DANCE STUDIO THE DANCE STUDIO was established in 1982 with the purpose of teaching students to dance in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. We emphasize technique, quality, and performance in a professional yet caring environment. Peggy Busey-Bourgeois earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Tows... on University. She has taught Elementary and High School in the Baltimore area. Peggy has choreographed for many community theatres, high schools, semi-professional theatres, and has taught for CCBC - Essex. She is also Dance Director for a large dance program in Anne Arundel County. She is a member of NADAA and Dance Masters of America. The staff at THE DANCE STUDIO is very caring and devoted. Many of the teachers not only have extensive dance backgrounds, but also have college degrees - many in the field of education. Peggy feels very fortunate to have such a dedicated staff. Peggy invites you to explore her unique Dance Studio - one that is caring and creative. A note about recital of 2020: We are so thankful that our dancers could showcase their talents and hard work in a modified recital format during the time of COVID-19 restrictions.
