Who is The Community Table
The Community Tables Mission is to serve balanced, nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming environment and to connect those in need with existing resources. We do this by engaging diverse volunteers in service and by fostering partnerships with local organizations. TCT also enlightens the public to issues of hunger in our community; and supports efforts of community agencies to increase the self-reliance of individuals and families. The Community Table, Inc. (TCT) is open every day for daily meal service. Thus, at least one employee is on staff 365 days per year. The Community Table team is composed of 4 full-time employees + 8 part-time employees. Office hours (+ when we accept food donations) are Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 3:00 p.m. TCT team includes many "core volunteers" -- retired professionals or homemakers who help out on a daily or weekly basis.
