Native Data Systems was established in 1995, with the merger of Native Systems and Data Mikun Ltd. The company's expertise consists in development of information business systems and ERP services for businesses and organizations. The first ERP system developed by the company was in an AS/400 environment, sold to and installed in large organizations... dealing with real-estate, construction (Ashtrom, Danker, Levinstein, IDBs Hon), and building-related retail market such as furniture (Beitili), ceramic tiles, kitchen and bath fixtures (Zahavi-Atzmon), and carpentry hardware (Domicile). In 2002, the company made a critical strategic decision which accurately foresaw the IT trend. Native Data developed a new ERP system in technology and business model known today as SaaS ("Software as a Service"). This decision was made based on the understanding of the future business market regarding web-based enterprise software services. COMAX SMART RETAIL ERP was developed to fulfill the needs of the retail market in general, with a focus on the wholesale and retail food markets. Among COMAX customers are Co-op Israel, the 3rd largest retail food chain in the country, as well as Kimat Hinam, Hezi Hinam, Rami Levi, Duchan Gan Shmuel. On top of the basic COMAX infrastructure, there are ERP systems solutions developed for a work environment that requires close cooperation between the organization, its customers, vendors, owners and, for example, accounting firms, distributors, logistic centers, and kibbutzim.
