The Captains Table

We are unique as there has never been a... seafood restaurant within the fishing town of Fraserburgh. We are proud to have our own Buyers Licence which means we can control our own seafood supply. We stand by our principles by choosing local suppliers and seasonal fresh produce; even despite it sometimes being more convenient and very often cheaper... to buy frozen alternatives. We very proudly stand out as a business that follows through on our ethos of fresh, local, personal. In continuing to follow this practice we also make our carbon footprint smaller. The Captain's Table offers visitors to the North East the ability to experience what the area has to offer. It does this by showcasing what the town was built on which was the fishing industry. Staff will be able to tell the customer exactly where the fish on their plate has come from even down to the boat's name and the vessels owner! If a local processor has been used then we promote that too. Visitors and locals alike enjoy finding out about our business and where the food comes from and why. It is important to us that we develop relationships with local suppliers and advocate the importance of supporting our local fishing industry.
