The Buffalo Stampede

After staggering the Stampede in 2020, welcome back to the Buffalo Stampede 10 and 4 Mile Run/Walk. Were looking forward to seeing everyone again! But if you are more comfortable, a virtual option is available. The Buffalo Stampede 10 Mile Run the race that kicked off Sacramentos road race tradition! Now celebrating 47 years, the Stampede also feat... ures a 4 mile run/walk. Both courses travel through Sacramentos River Park neighborhood. The 10 mile course also includes the levees along the American River and the Guy West Bridge. For 2021, there will be a $250 incentive to set a new 10 mile course record for open men and women. As the sister race to the Urban Cow Half Marathon, the Buffalo Stampede is the perfect training distance for this great event, and for your other fall half-marathons. So dont miss out! It is one of the five events the Buffalo Chips Running Club sponsors each year, including the free Fourth of July Five Mile Run in River Park, Susan B. Anthony Womens 5K, Jed Smith Ultra, and Willow Hill USATF Cross Country. As always, the Buffalo Stampede benefits youth running in Sacramento, including the Youth Chips.
