Barbara Taft, The Accent Expert, has taught Accent Improvement to over 3,000 students. She was an instructor with Santa Clara Adult Education for many years. As the owner of English Unlimited, a private school in Silicon Valley, California, she taught foreign-born professionals, although her students included many of their spouses, as well as their... children. She also taught at several corporations, and other private language schools. She was an instructor at International Technological University as well. Barbara has traveled to 59 countries, where she has visited with friends and former students. She knows how important it is to understand not only the language, but also the culture, and includes cultural insights when teaching her courses. Since beginning her business in Arizona, Barbara has had students from Korea, China, Thailand, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, among others.
