About The Academy

The Academy Australia ("The Academy") was established in 2016 by Director Angela Lee and her business partner Julianne Xie. Recognising the growing demand in Australia for Asian events, content and entertainment opportunities, in particular the global phenomenon that is Kpop, The Academy's primary objective is to connect Australia to Asia and bring Asian events to Australia. Most notably, The Academy's flagship event is its annual Kpop boot camp which provides a platform for Australia's young talents to explore their artistic potential through experiential dance, vocal and modelling training over a 8-10 day period. It is an extremely rewarding and very challenging program designed to push the limits of ones potential to new higher levels.
