About The 21 Fund

The 21 Fund was founded to honor the memory of Joseph Joey Glynn. Joey was a star basketball player at Cardinal Spellman High School where he scored more than 1,000 points and secured a scholarship to play at Bentley University. In June of 2013, Joey passed away during a summer league basketball game, doing what he loved most, playing the game of basketball. During his short time on earth, Joey touched many lives. His loss is mourned an immeasurable amount by family and friends. All who were fortunate enough to know Joey remember him as a friend to all and a leader on and off the court. To continue Joeys legacy, a nonprofit foundation was established in March of 2018 by Joeys family and friends. The 21 Fund will benefit local individuals and families in financial need due to illness or unexpected hardship.
