Tharwa -Breda Petroleum Service Co. is one of the companies in the petrol... eum sector that launched local production of wellheads and X-mas trees in November 2012, making it the first company in Egypt and the Middle East to work as a certified company, API-6A, in this type of industry. This project is a part of the Egyptian Government and Oil Ministry plan for economic independence and self-sufficiency, main objectives that our nation will pursue. During the past four years, Tharwa- Breda has been an effective part in the gas industry in Egypt, owing its success to supplying the subsea, SSIV, for major gas projects in the Mediterranean sea. TBPSCO supplied and installed all different types of subsea and SSIV valves for Petrobel in four different projects: Denis, Tuna, Seth, and DECA, which reported a total turnover of 33,000,000 Tharwa-Breda began the production of wellheads and X-mas trees immediately after the launch of the new workshop in Badr City in November 2012. In the past two years TBPSCO produced more than 100 sets of 3K and 5K Psig conventional wellheads for many Egyptian customers through current supply contracts with GUPCO, Petrobel, General Petroleum, East Ziet, Transglobe, Eshpetco, and Petrogulf.
