Dr. Dong Zhang, who founded TRA in 2005 has worked on textiles and nonwovens since 1983. He is the editor-in-chief for the Textile Research Journal and the Journal of Industrial Textiles . He has been standing at the frontier of advanced research in technical textiles and nonwovens since he received his PhD from the Department of Material Engineering and Science at the University of Tennessee in 1995. Dr. Christine Sun, the principal of TRA, is a globally recognized technical and market expert in advanced nonwovens and filtration industry. With extensive experiences from both industrial and academic services, she has not only broad and in-depth knowledge but also hands-on experiences in the areas of advanced nonwovens, nanofibers and filtration technologies. She has authored around 100 technical publications and holds several patents in these same areas. She received the Sr. Scientist Award in 2012 from AFS and the Best Paper Award from INDA in 2008. She is the chair of ASHRAE MTG-EEC, a board director of AFS, and a voting member to many air/liquid filtration standard committees.
