In 1958 Corky Arnold and his wife Margie purchased a 1300 acre goat farm in Blum, Texas. Several years later a neighbor told them their property had a large limestone deposit on it. In 1970 they purchased a small crusher and began selling aggregates throughout Dallas and Fort Worth. For nearly a half century, the aggregates from their quarry have been instrumental in the growth of the DFW Metroplex. With five generations still working in the business, the Arnold family has been a well-known and respected provider of aggregates throughout the Metroplex for decades. Anticipating the rapid growth of the southern portion of the Metroplex, Texas Construction Aggregates LLC commenced operations of its 680 acre Tolar, TX property in May of 2016.
