My sincere thanks to all involved in the preparation and running of this fabulous show. It was a great honour to judge this quality group of Terriers resulting in some very close decisions to get to my final eight for further assessment. After more consideration and assessment the top spot had to go to the Kerry Blue Terrier, Davies Indian Princess... At Perrisblu. A quality feminine girl who was upstanding and well proportioned. Compact and powerful with a well-proportioned head of good length, moderate stop and strong jaws. Dark eye and good expression, medium ears carried forward. Good length of neck. Good bone, depth and straight legs. Compact round feet and tail well set on. Moved with positive free gait and was in first class body condition. Presented in good soft, silky blue coat. A balanced quality youngster who gained her title on the day, kept her mind on the job and I believe she still has even more to come. 2nd the Lakeland Terrier, Bonetts Ch Saredon Enigma. A smart and eye-catching dog. Head well-proportioned with flat skull. Dark eye and small well shaped ears. Clean slightly arched neck. Well laid shoulder and straight legs. Chest not too broad and had strong back. Tail well set on and well developed rear. Compact feet of good shape. Presented in first class harsh coat. Moved with good action and holds a quality workmanlike picture. 3rd the Jack Russell Terrier Roca Ales Ch/Esp/Swe/Nor/Gib/Int Ch Algrafs Viktor For Anroal [ATC AU03226RUS]. Smart and strong dog with great character. Head with good skull, not too broad and with strong muzzle. Eyes were dark and not too large, ears well placed and of good texture. Strong clean neck into well-built front. Spannable body of good length, good rib, bone and feet. Well-built rear and good tail. Presented in very good coat and body condition. A free striding exhibit of good breed type who made his presence felt. 4th the Bedlington Terrier, Cummings Rocabec Riding Shotgun. A graceful quality youngster with very good head and furnishings.
