Luly Bestard Melarti is the owner of TerraCotta Studio. As a licensed architect she brings more than 20 years of architectural, design, and construction experience to the company. She excels at residential design with the expertise to bring a project from conception to completion. Her background in commercial development allows her to see the overa... ll picture and guide her clients through all the steps necessary to get from design to construction. Her skillful integration of finishes and selections into the projects transform houses into homes for her clients. Her obsession for authentic and thoughtful design leads her mission as she continues to perfect her techniques. She believes that no two homeowners are alike and every house requires an unique and individual design approach. Luly lives in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where she and her husband are raising three children. They also have an adorable black and white English Cocker Spaniel who has become their fourth child. She believes that her exposure to different cultures and languages continues to shape the way she approaches design. Her childhood years, growing up in her native Miami, were formative years and continue to influence her work and her life to this day. As a co-owner of a residential design build company in Atlanta, she flies back and forth from New Jersey to Atlanta throughout the year. When she is not at the office, she loves to cook and try new recipes, entertain and go into New York City whenever possible. Recently, she has even started growing her own vegetables to add to her home cooked meals.
