About TENZERA
TENZERA, Inc. was established in 1975 when owner Ivan Tenzera moved to the United States from Croatia, Europe. Ivan came to America with no knowledge of the English language and started working in the tile business, teaching himself. Years passed, and Ivan's passion for working grew. He knew he could and began expanding his tile business little by little. Working with marble, granite and natural stone was different with tile. Once again Ivan taught himself and hired a crew of four to work with him. Ivan taught them what he had learned and the business expanded. He had help from his family; his wife, daughter, and son Bruno Tenzera, all had a part in the business. For years Ivan and Bruno worked by themselves with only a few helpers, struggling to finish the demanding jobs. In February 2002, Ivan and Bruno turned their business into a corporation.
