Tell Us Another One (often known as TUAO) is a creative writing project, run by Cartwheel Arts in the North-West of England, and funded by the Big Lottery and supported by local authorities in the in the three Greater Manchester boroughs the project operates in - Rochdale, Bury and Oldham. We run regular creative writing groups for adults in 7 loca... tions around the three boroughs. These groups are free, and open to everyone - no previous experience of creative writing is needed, you don't have to have perfect writing and perfect grammar, your first language need not be English. If you're interested in creative writing; if you'd like to try new forms and styles, from poetry to ultra-short fiction to song lyrics to dramatic monologues or playscripts; if you'd like to meet and work with well-known professional writers; and if you'd like to know other people in your local area who enjoy writing,Your local TUAO writing group is waiting for you! We also run other short creative projects for adults and young people. These projects start from the idea of creative writing, and explore its application from poetry and fiction, all the way through to song writing, mc'ing and creating graphic novels, to digital contemporary art pieces. We also produce a magazine, Scribble, which includes the work of respected professional writers alongside the work of our participants.
