Founded in 1966 by Mr. Fong Chin Yue as Wing Tai Liquor and Fruit Co., Telford had humble origins as a small liquor and fruit shop in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui District, before being established as Telford International Company Limited in 1982 to meet the market's growing demands. For over two generations, Telford has been owned and operated in it... s entirety by the Fong family; forming over half a century's worth of experience, strengths in partnership and a success backed by the meticulous effort of a family-run business. Since its start as a local distributor of liquor and fruit in the 1960's, Telford has since developed its liquor distribution to span wines and spirits from the globe over, alongside beers and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages. Telford has further expanded its distribution coverage to include non-alcoholic beverages, bottled waters, and food products. In 2002, Telford expanded its operations into Mainland China as Telford China Company Limited, a joint venture distribution partnership in China with established headquarters in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
