Telecom Recovery

Telecom Recovery was born when a few seasoned telecom veterans put their resources together to solve a difficult problem: how to quickly recover control of existing phone numbers after a power outage, cable cut, equipment failure, or disaster. Until Telecom Recovery, for most organizations in the U.S. there was no effective, comprehensive, and perh... aps most importantly, affordable solution to this serious problem. In early 2005 CarrierSales, a successful decade-old marketer of telecom services throughout the U.S., learned from one of their largest customers that a recovery solution was needed for any time that telecommunications services were lost, disaster or not. Though mass notification companies and products abounded, CarrierSales could not find any product, service or other solution anywhere in the country that could rapidly and effectively recover control of incoming calls to existing published phone numbers, which this government entity-and most every governmental entity, for that matter-had an obligation to do. So CarrierSales hatched an idea of a new solution that could do just that: rapidly recover complete control of incoming calls to existing phone numbers, with mass notification, conferencing, and fax receiving thrown in as value-added features. The investment was made, the team was hired, and in the spring of 2005 development of the proposed telecommunications recovery technology had begun. Upon completion of the first fully functional version of the Web Call Controller in late 2005, marketing of Voice Recovery Service-the combination of Instant Re-route and the Web Call Controller into an end-to-end voice recovery solution-began in earnest.
