Telco Source Connect is all about connections. The company is founded and staffed with a team of experienced professionals that have connections and roots back to the early days of telecom in both the US and China markets. The connections began in the mid 1990's as then Decibel Products established a manufacturing presence in China. Along the way,... developing a local source for "hard line" cable was essential and the team that eventually founded Kingsignal was introduced to Alan Murphree. At the time, Alan was working for Philip Sorrells, the Director of Quality Engineering at Decibel Products. Fast forward nearly 30 years later, and Alan Murphree had co-founded and sold PC Specialties, a manufacturer of high-quality circuit card assemblies to Kingsignal and founded Telco Source Connect with Kingsignal as the primary manufacturer and investor. The connections continued with Alan reaching out to Philip Sorrells, who had left CommScope to start his own telecom consulting and advisory agency, Winding Roads Advisory Services. Julia Hogan, whom Philip had worked with extensively at Andrew Corporation and later CommScope then joined the team as SVP of Sales, Business Development and Marketing. Telco Source Connect has four primary goals. First to establish a presence in the NAR market for and with Kingsignal, working as their authorized reseller and agent for Kingsignal. Second, following a template established by Kingsignal in Asia and Latin America, establish a value added kitting and local service capability to reduce logistics complexities and costs. Third, develop additional sources of high quality, low cost suppliers, primarily from Asia.
