Technical Difficulties is a consumer electronics repair shop started over twenty years ago by two technicians (Mark and Paul) who had been working for a consumer electronics retailer and decided to start a business of their own. In the beginning, we worked nights out of our homes to build our customer base. After gaining some recognition locally, w... e began acquiring retailer accounts (merchants requiring our services for their customers), and soon were able to open our first small storefront. Twenty years later, we have two locations (one in Eau Claire and one in Green Bay). We employ about a dozen technicians, and perform in excess of 4000 repairs each year - many of them warranty service for Wisconsin's major retailers. We honor contracts with all the major manufacturers, as well as most extended warranty companies. We believe that our business has remained successful these past 20 years because we have a solid business focus. We're a dedicated electronics service center. We don't do retail sales, so our customers know that we're not going to give them a hard-sell on new equipment that they don't need. We're also not going to ship your equipment someplace else and get it back to you some 6 weeks later. Our customers enjoy an 80% chance of having the set working when the tech leaves the house after the first visit. We enjoy the security of always having work.
