TO ALL TEAMSTERS 125 MEMBERS: In light of the COVID 19 virus the Executive Board has cancelled this months membership meeting, as advised by our International. Just so you are all aware, contract Negotiations have been postponed for a brief time as well during this crisis. The Local Union Offices are open as well as the 945 Health and Welfare Offic... es. Visitors are NOT allowed in the building and we encourage you all to use the phone or email to contact us. Business Agents are available in some cases in the field where allowed or by cell. If you're in the Teamsters Aetna Health Care Plan, co-pays for Telemedicine are waived. We encourage all Members to use Tel-Doc as the first line of defense if your feeling sick or feverish. They can direct you to a medical facility for a free check of the virus or to the Doctor or Hospital, doing this lessens the risk to others if you ar sick. Lastly please check on the elderly and those who can't get out, this is a time to show what Teamsters do, they are on the front lines everyday fighting for working families and for those who need help.
