Team 971: Spartan Robotics

Students who will be attending MVHS in the fall may begin attending meetings starting in the summer. Spartan Robotics educates and inspires students in the fields of science and technology through its participation in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competition. Our organization participates in this competition... , as it is an enjoyable and educational opportunity for students to explore this field. We are a student mentor partnership that gives students the opportunity to work alongside mentors from industry to provide a rich and inspiring experience. Although we are a robotics team, we do a lot more than build robots. Our program also reaches out to the community. We spread the values of FIRST, including teamwork and cooperation to younger students who participate in FLL (FIRST LEGO League), VEXIQ and other robotics competitions.
