The fellowship is a highly competitive, challenging, and rewarding leadership development program that will prepare the you to be a lifelong leader. Over the two years, you will hone your skills in a variety of areas including communication, planning, project management and implementation, and teamwork. As a classroom instructor, you are uniquely poised to set your students on new paths, and to lead them to success both in and out out school. And as a member of the movement, you join a network of leaders and change agents both locally and internationally. You will leave Teach for Nepal prepared and confident to meet whatever comes next. What is a Teach for Nepal "Fellow"? "Fellow" is the term we have chosen to call the college graduates who will be trained and working as teachers. They are members of the "Corps", or group of leaders working to address educational injustice. Is Teach for Nepal Fellowship a voluntary position? Teach for Nepal Fellowship is not a voluntary position. All fellows are engaged in full-time, salaried, work, as teachers and community change-makers. How much will I be paid during the Fellowship? Teach for Nepal Fellows will be paid stipend of Rs.426,500 during the two years of Fellowship, comparative to most entry level position in Nepal. In some rural communities Fellows will receive additional housing support. How long am I expected to commit to Teach for Nepal?
