About Tclb

"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do." Taking Care of Our Own (TCLB) is an idea created with the help of my wife Nancie Ann. TCLB was created for fundraisers and food drives as well as to partner with long-standing charitable foundations, provide coats to the cold, volunteer for soup kitchens, donate time to help at assisted living facilities, and other need based organizations We created TCLB at the same tRead more

As new residents to Long Branch, we decided to form an organization that could bring like-minded charitable people together to better the lives of others, especially our neighbors. TCLB was created for fundraisers and food drives as well as to partner with long-standing charitable foundations, provide coats to the cold, volunteer for soup kitchens, donate time to help at assisted living facilities, and other need based organizations We created TCLB at the same time of the Brighton Avenue fire so we could put our idea to work for a tremendous cause. It was always our intention to spread goodwill to everyone-- from the individual in the community that may need a simple helping hand, up to groups of citizens that have experienced a broader affliction. We hope to have an impact not only on large scale events like the fire, but also on those who need help with everyday life. Nancie and I have always felt so blessed with a healthy family and the means to provide for them, so we feel its our responsibility to help others who have not been as fortunate. Sharing the gift of giving back to the community with our children Nicholas and Madeline has shown them what an attitude of service truly means. Our mission is to inspire others to join us in our community endeavors. Everyone can make a difference, no matter what size the effort.Read More
