We don't sell other items like televisions, lumber, and furniture because our philosophy is to be the best at what we do. We don't think you can be the best in the business if you are not focused. We are totally focused and committed to the major appliance industry, and serving our customers with our expertise is our number one goal. We do just abo... ut everything within our industry except rent appliances. We sell, we install, we service, and we have a complete parts department for the do-it-yourselfer. We employ about 45 people throughout the entire organization. Many of our people have extensive years of experience not only in the appliance industry, but many years with Taylor's Appliance as well. If you add up all the years of related industry experience our people have, it adds up to over 700 years. What that means is better customer service for you. We carry a lot of really great brands to fit just about any budget. We are factory recognized and we are authorized to sell and service the brands we have listed elsewhere in our web site. One thing we have learned over the years is just because it's on the market, it doesn't mean it's good. It also doesn't mean that parts and service are readily available. We understand the importance of after sale support which is why we support the brands we carry. We are committed to our community. We believe that our long term viability is the long term viability of the areas we serve. We support a lot of great organizations that help support Riverside and its surrounding areas. We are still family owned and operated. Harold Taylor Sr. started the business in 1945 (he died in 1984), Harold Taylor Jr. is still very active in the business, and Scott Taylor, son and grandson, is the President and General Manager.
