NTPDL operates a distribution system in the service area approved by the Ontario Energy Board. The shareholders are the Town of Newmarket and the Township of Tay. The plan provides information to the shareholder on the long term direction, as well as operating and capital budget projections, for the company. It also gives senior management direction for the development and operation of the business. The strategic plan is confidential to the shareholder, Board of Directors, Officers, and senior management of the company. A firm understanding of the strategic plan as a basis for all decisions and actions is required for the efficient and effective performance of NTPDL.
