Our whāinga matua or main purpose is to build a place where tangata whenua can feel safe and supported in order to reach the ultimate goal of empowerment through employment. Ko ngā tāngata e ratoa ana, the people we serve is our kaupapa, our pou mua, holding up the mahau and maihi, the outstretched arms of the wharenui. We whakamana and uplift our people, making sure every interaction doesn’t feel transactional - our way of saying don’t just visit… stay.
