In the recent years, the division has brought in focus on Research & Development, in addition to engineering and project implementation skills for enhanced support to production processes and agility towards technological changes, software obsolescence and reducing dependence on technology suppliers in process automation solutions. In line with the vision of Tata Steel to become a benchmark in value creation and corporate citizenship, the Automation division has forayed into commercialisation of its products and solutions, with the objective of serving the steel industry with advanced process automation for steel making.
