TAS is also an affiliate of Eastland Exploration, Inc., a family run operation with 80 years of experience in the oil and gas business. Eastland Exploration has its roots in Eastland County, Texas where it was founded as Eastland Oil Company in 1922 by A.M. and George Donnelly. In the mid-1980s, assets of Eastland Oil Company were split into two separate entities, one of which was named Eastland Exploration, Inc. The two Eastland Exploration owners, Richard Donnelly, grandson of the founder, and Tom Sikes later established TAS Royalty Company to handle the acquisition and management of royalty interests. Prior to working in the family run business since 1950, Richard Donnelly attended the University of Texas and majored in Geology. Tom Sikes has undergraduate degrees in Geology and Finance, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas. Mr. Sikes has been with the company since 1985.Read More
