Zach is a biopharmaceutical inventor, entrepreneur and executive. He is a Partner at TardiMed where he has Co-Founded several life science companies that span multiple therapeutic areas and stages of development. He also serves in an operating role for several of the TardiMed portfolio companies and is currently the President and a member of the Bo... ard of Directors for Timber Pharmaceuticals. Previously, Zach was the Co-Founder and President at Patagonia Pharmaceuticals, a privately-owned specialty pharmaceutical company developing treatments for rare dermatologic diseases. He was the lead inventor on all of Patagonias technologies and oversaw their development from concept through Phase 2 studies. In 2018, Patagonia was awarded a $1.5 million grant from the FDA for which Zach served as the Principal Investigator. Zach has a BS in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Miami and an MST in Adolescent Science Biology from Pace University. Michael is a successful biopharmaceutical entrepreneur, operating executive and investor. He has founded or co-founded multiple biopharmaceutical companies and has a passion for developing and commercializing innovative products that make a major impact on the lives of patients globally. Michael is the Founder and Managing Partner of TardiMed Sciences, which is building a portfolio of innovative companies that address some of medicines most pressing diseases. In 2015, Michael co-founded Castle Creek Pharmaceuticals which, under his leadership, raised more than $120 million and was built into a late clinical-stage company developing important therapies for patients with rare dermatologic conditions. Prior to Castle Creek, Michael founded Norphan Pharmaceuticals, which developed drugs for patients with rare neurologic diseases, including one of the first drugs to gain U.S. FDA approval for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
