Tana Mitchell is an award-winning independent designer with over 20 years experience across the cultural, commercial & corporate sectors. Her focus is the generation of strategic ideas expressed with intelligent design solutions from brand identity & experience through to publication, packaging, web, interior & industrial design. With an unwavering... passion for the big idea right through to a hawk-like focus on the minutiae of applied design, Tana drives & maintains creative excellence. Tana has created & developed many well-known New Zealand brands including Britomart, Monteiths, Air New Zealand & Methven. Tana has also worked in London, Berlin & New York where she has developed strategic design concepts for Hersheys, Citibank, Quirky & Raindog Films. Her work has received many DINZ Best Awards including the stringer prize {purple pin} & has also been recognised internationally by the D&AD, Designweek, Wallpaper Magazine.
