Talents for Future

Talents For Future is a non-profit organisation. We teach climate change issues in French colleges around the world. We have a partnership with « Avenir Climatique . They have created MOOCs to explain energy and climate change in a simplified way. Students and teachers can learn and watch the courses online. This is the first step of the training p... rogram. The second step is a collective workshop based on the design thinking methods thanks to « The Climate Collage . We explain through this game the causes and consequences of climate change. Then we present existing solutions to stop climate change, at different level: individual, collective, private & public. We present the ongoing initiatives and changes to stop carbon emissions and face the shortage of fossil resources. Additionally, we make local partnerships with associations and invite them to present their actions to the students so that they can get engaged. The students will learn to calculate their own carbon footprint to have a precise idea on their daily emission impact and how to reduce it. At the end, we explain what Low Tech is and demonstrate the high-tech limits with a practical experience. The project is incubated by Imago which promotes and helps adventurers with an ecological objective. We train young volunteers and connect them with French schools around the world in order to help them realize their dreams of adventure while having a positive impact on the planet. The first team left on January 2019. We have today 35 volunteers per year travelling around the world in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. We have already teached to 10 000 students and 100 teachers.
