TAIEX Ltd through it's 100% owned subsidiary Wheal Jane Ltd (BVI) is a new company established to acquire exploration and mining interests in Taiwan (Republic of China). The island of Taiwan despite having a rich mining heritage has remained largely ignored by modern exploration with many highly prospective areas unlicensed, majority of deposits di... scovered in Japanese colonial era and abandoned after WW2. The company intends to exploit this by acquiring licences over an area of known gold mineralisation, establish first mover advantage and expand to establish high quality exploration portfolio. TAIEX have an experienced team, including former Gold Fields Exploration Manager with experience in Taiwan have examined opportunities. The team have identified several high priority areas prospective for high sulphidation epithermal gold. The regional prospectivity is high with multiple opportunities to create a large portfolio of assets and a simple mining code assigns exploration licences based on technical ability without large up front payments and gives clear framework to progress to mining licences.
