(Akfen Su Water) is a joint company engaged in management and operation of water & wastewater corporations, and meeting the challenges of waste management issues in Turkey. Akfen Su Water was the first company to enter into a WWTP BOT project in Turkey, and currently has concession agreements with municipalities for the management and operation of water and wastewater networks, as well as BOT agreements with organized industrial zones (OIZs) for water and wastewater treatment plants. These long-term agreements include the design, construction, upgrading and operation of water and wastewater networks and treatment plants. Akfen Su Water is also carrying out solid waste management projects in which solid waste from several Marmara seaports of Istanbul Fast Ferries Co. (IDO) is collected and handled in accordance with regulations. Akfen Su Water is currently pursuing additional concessions and BOT agreements throughout Turkey and other countries in the region. Kardan Water Ltd (KW) is the operational platform of TAHAL Group Assets B.V. in the Chinese market.
