About Tag Manufacturing
Established in 1977, Tag Manufacturing Company has been an industry leader in designing, manufacturing and importing men's knitwear and sweaters for nearly 40 years. Founded by Irving Schwartz the company began as a domestic sweater manufacturing company based out of the Gowanus section of Brooklyn New York. Dedication to quality and pride in craftsmanship, helped propel this small family business to the forefront of the men's sweater industry. In 2002, under the leadership of the founder's sons Mitchell and Marc, the company expanded the business and moved production to the Far East. They brought their keen sense of of European influenced design, merchandising and marketing expertise as well as years of experience in running a knitting mill hands on.
