A report from a practitioner at the Canadian Back Institute recommends the nylon belt system instead of leather or laminate because the weight of the equipment is distributed evenly by the inner and outer velcro belt system. As with most things, price is a big consideration. Because of the high U.S. exchange rate, duty, importing costs and hassles, the staff at Tactical Advantage investigated the possibility of a Canadian-made product. None that were on the market were up to the standards that Tactical Advantage demanded. So, the company designers took the best of the best, added some of their own unique features not available anywhere else, and developed BLACK RHINO Nylon Duty Gear manufactured in Vancouver, B.C. What started as a limited line of nylon police equipment has grown to encompass uniquely designed pieces that law enforcement, security, parking enforcement and paramedics were looking for.
