HARTLAND - Economic growth is a chain effect, which is certainly true for T-Lon Products, Inc. in Hartland. Vice President Bob Olson said as the industries T-Lon Products supplies continue to do well, the Hartland company in turn is seeing growth. T-Lon Products has contracted MSI General Corporation to design, engineer and construct a 13,140-squar... e-foot addition to its existing 40,000-square-foot facility at 1110 Richards Road. Founded in 1979, T-Lon Products designs and manufactures Teflon seals for many applications, including for the agriculture and food processing industries. "The company is tight right now," Olson said of the Hartland facilities. "The company has enjoyed some very strong growth in the past three years." The additional space in the building will allow for T-Lon Products to accommodate the growth and anticipated future contracts, Olson said. "The industries the company supply to are in a growth mode and I think the company is being recognized in the marketplace as a very value-added supplier," he said. The marketplace has also very receptive of the company's highly engineered seals, Olson said. T-Lon Products currently employs 75 people, but Olson is projecting additional hires of about five to 20 people during the course of the next few years. Ground will be broken on the building addition Oct. 10 and the intent is for it to be completed by spring.
