Systolix specialises in the development and commercial licensing of advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies and associated software tools. PulseDSP cores are highly configurable and can provide MAC rates up to and in excess of 200 Billion MACs / Second, and support sample rates of up to 200 Million Samples / Second per I/O channel. PulseDSP technology is ideal for demanding application requiring high MAC rates and rapid data throughput such as digital IF and baseband signal processing for software radio solutions. Systolix has already licensed the PulseDSP technology to Analog Devices, for use in their data converter products, and are in discussion with a number of other semiconductor vendors. PulseDSP technology is available as part of Systolix PulseCore licensing program. Custom cores can be configured to exactly match the performance, power and area requirements of the target application. Each core is fully supported by a complete development/programming environment. Systolix also produces a range of software point tools for digital signal conditioning applications. These include FilterExpress, an easy to use filter synthesis tool, and FilterWizard, a programming tool for Analog Devices AD7725 programmable Sigma-Delta converter, both of which are currently available for download from the Systolix web site.
