Syphax Airlines is a private "Hybrid" Tunisian airline, born from the desire to promote economic development in southern Tunisia and the creation of levers for growth and employment in the region of Sfax and therefore nationally. The company is a scheduled airline serving destinations in the Mediterranean with an optimized and Cost Effective management system. The company draws on the Tunisian capabilities and the expertise of international consultants. The consulting firm that conducted Syphax Airlines Business Plan is none other than Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a leading global provider of consulting for Top Management. With 45 offices in 34 countries, it operates successfully on all major international markets. The company also benefits from logistical support of TELNET, a group specializing in consultancy in innovation and new technologies and national leader in his core business. Syphax Airlines has chosen to start with a fleet of two Airbus A319 ordered for a total of $ 55 million (82.5 million dinars) arranged in two classes, with a capacity of 150 seats each, named "Karama" and "Horria", referring to the revolution that happened in Tunisia during 2011. Other aircrafts will increase the fleet from the fourth year of operation and following the opening of the Tunisian sky to international competition.
